Cobra Sport performance exhausts enhance the sound, looks and quality of your vehicle giving you the ultimate driving experience. Our sports exhausts range is fully guaranteed to give you assurance of our quality.
This Mini GP3 performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and fits from the catalytic converter section backwards (Cat-back) these exhausts replace the centre and rear sections.
The resonated exhaust option includes the centre silencer and has a subtle but sporty tone. This exhaust however, is also available as a non-resonated version which is a louder option as it excludes the centre silencer and therefore, has a sportier exhaust note.
Fitment to PPF equipped models will require basic engine tuning at time of fitment to cancel the EML light and is for motorsport and off road use only.
All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.
This part can be fitted with a Cobra Sport sports cat / de-cat downpipe (Cobra cat back fitment option) to form a full turbo back performance exhaust upgrade (see related items).

The Mk3 MINI GP3 has really hit the spot with enthusiast drivers the world over. A lively chassis, matched to a punchy, turbocharged engine and squat good looks have made it a big seller. But there's always room for a little improvement.
Performance exhaust specialist Cobra Sport has developed a new cat-back system, manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel and featuring mandrel-bent pipework for optimum gas flow, these expertly TIG-welded systems are the perfect addition to any cherished John Cooper Works GP3.
Many months of testing was carried out to ensure the system not only delivered the performance gains required (which can be unleashed with further tuning), but also to create a thrilling soundtrack - sporty and aggressive when you want it to be, with the crackle, pops and bangs amplified.
The end result is an exhaust that truly complements the playful and sporty character of the GP3. With the non resonated cat back exhaust option fitted and the vehicle in sport mode, sound levels on the 4,000 rpm track test increased by 7% to register 86.4dB.
Whereas competitor systems are mainly 2.75in bore, the Cobra Sport system is available as a 3in (76.2mm) cat-back set up, in either resonated or louder non-resonated format, the system features a choice of 3.5in (89.9mm) and 4in (101.8mm) tailpipes, with ceramic coated black and carbon fibre tips available as an option.
With over 25 years in the performance exhaust industry, each Cobra Sport exhaust system is designed, manufactured and tested in Sheffield, the heart of the UK steel industry. Cobra Sport utilise TIG-welding techniques to ensure a flawless finish and quality that you can rely on.
